Rowan’s campaign of dark ascension began when he was just eighteen. After finding a dark temple, he was imbued with the knowledge and power of a skilled necromancer. His powers grew when he encountered Gabrielle LeMort.

Together they were known as The Dark Couple. With the help of a demon lord, they raided a magical repository and corrupted it to dark magic. Though the demon was defeated and sealed, the power of The Dark Couple only grew.

They were eventually defeated when several groups of powerful adventurers gathered together as a small army and killed them.
